We will be holding both a standard (Olympic) and sprint distance events.

We have changed the courses for this year slightly and will have a single transition zone within the village

So we no longer have the steep hill from T1 you'll be glad to know. However the run will now start with a little hill which the locals call 'cardiac', bet you're looking forward to it already.

  • The swim is in the open sea within the very sheltered Portscatho bay.
  • The bike is on public roads and the roads will not be closed.
  • The runs are a mixture of quiet road and coastal path.

The standard distance will start before the sprint, they will both share a single transition in Portscatho.

Sorry

We don't currently have any events ready for entry, why not join the newsletter and be notified of when somethings coming up.

The swim will start on Tatum's beach across the bay to a buoy near Porthcurnick beach and back to the starting beach.

The cycle starts at Portscatho then out of the village to Trewithian and down to St. Mawes. Follow the main road through St. Mawes and past the castle and then back to Trewithian. Then carry on the main road to Ruan-High-Lanes where you turn left and down through Ruanlanihorne and onto the bottom of Tregony. Turn right up the hill back towards Portscatho and follow the road until you once again reach Trewithian and turn left towards Portscatho. Follow the signs to Portscatho and return to the transition.

The run will go along the footpath to Treloan then along to Rosteague and down to Towan, then up the field by the hill. Then follow the road until you reach St. Anthony. There will be toilets and a drink station here. Then follow the coastal path, there will be another drink station at Towan. Keep on the path and keep going all the way back to Portscatho.
